Christmas in Boss
Nel 2012 uscì l’album “Wrecking Ball” di Bruce Springsteen (The Boss). Fu il diciassettesimo studio album del cantautore e fu nominato miglior album del 2012 secondo la rivista Rolling Stone. Quando l’ascoltai la prima volta ne rimasi piacevolmente colpito. Un pezzo d’arte a 360 gradi, di quelle opere che apprezzi anche a distanza d’anni e così è stato.

Da quell’anno in poi Wrecking Ball mi è rimasto particolarmente a cuore specialmente durante il periodo natalizio. L’album è molto Rock n Roll ma non mancano note hip-hop e un tocco di folk irlandese. I singoli “Take care of your own”, “Land of Hope and Dreams”, “Wrecking Ball”, “Shackled and Drawn” e “Death to my hometown” sono tra i miei pezzi preferiti e dove la E Street Band emerge in modo spettacolare.
Voglio dunque augurarvi un Buon Natale con questo breve post accompagnato dalle note del singolo Land of Hope and Dreams.
